Not only Uttar Pradesh, but due to the lockdown in the entire country, there has been a crisis of livelihood in front of the workers. People are returning to their homes by paying the remaining money in rent. Meanwhile, the Shramik Special train from Vadodara reached Kannauj on Thursday carrying about 1815 workers. All these laborers were placed under social distancing in the railway station premises. After the thermal screening of the workers, the district administration provided food to them and sent them to their home district by 48 buses.
उत्तर प्रदेश ही नहीं पूरे देश में लॉकडाउन की वजह से श्रमिकों के सामने रोजी रोटी का संकट खड़ा हो गया है। लोग बचा खुचा पैसा किराए में देकर अपने घरों की ओर लौट रहे हैं। इस बीच गुरुवार को बड़ोदरा से श्रमिक स्पेशल ट्रेन करीब 1815 श्रमिकों को लेकर गुरुवार को कन्नौज पहुंची। इन सभी मजदूरों को रेलवे स्टेशन परिसर में सोशल डिस्टेंसिंग के अंतर्गत रखा गया । श्रमिकों की थर्मल स्क्रीनिंग कराये जाने के बाद जिला प्रशासन ने इनको भोजन पानी की व्यवस्था कराकर सभी को 48 बसों द्वारा इनके गृह जनपद भिजवा दिया गया।
